What Keyboarding Lessons & Drillfiles are?

Below is a sampling of the 600+ keyboarding lessons/drillfiles that are available in All The Right Type.
They range in complexity and are targeted to a range of typing abilities and ages. As well as these lessons, teachers can create their own lessons and share them with other schools or the All The Right Type community.

Although ATRT was designed to teach touch typing, we have added 4 activities for younger students that would like to learn keyboard orientation. The activities teach keyboard orientation, the alphabet, short and long vowel sounds, and more.

* Teachers can customize their own in the school or home school version.

Standard Drillfiles

ATRT Standard (For all ages)
This 87-lesson comprehensive tutorial follows our lesson sequencing learning method designed by keyboarding specialists to teach touch typing. ATRT Standard is recommended for learners that are new to touch typing or would like to increase their speed and accuracy by reinforcing proper hand positioning and posture while building skills and mastery starting from the home row keys up to the entire keyboard. ATRT Standard or ATRT Standard Jr. should be the first drillfiles assigned by the teacher, and then they can be supplemented with other lessons.

ATRT Standard Junior (For younger children)
This 93-lesson comprehensive tutorial follows our lesson sequencing learning method designed by keyboarding specialists to teach touch typing. The Jr. lessons are shorter in length than the standard version and have cartoon animations and content geared for younger children to learn how to touch type. ATRT Standard Jr. is recommended for learners who are new to touch typing or who want to improve their speed and accuracy by reinforcing proper hand positioning and posture while building skills and mastery, beginning with the home row keys and progressing to the entire keyboard. ATRT Standard or ATRT Standard Jr. should be the first drillfiles assigned by the teacher and then can be supplemented with other lessons.
